Sue Wolstenholme OBE

Sue is the former Executive Director of The Tennis Foundation during which time the Disability Tennis programme was established and became a major focus of the work of the Foundation.

Sue is the former Executive Director of The Tennis Foundation during which time the Disability Tennis programme was established and became a major focus of the work of the Foundation.   A former Board Member of the British Paralympic Association (BPA), Sue was made an Honorary Vice-President in 2013.   Sue was a Member of the Board of The Lawn Tennis Association from 1983 – 1991 and is now a Vice-President.

Sue is currently Chairman of The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, an organisation which raises funds to help disabled people to play tennis by providing individuals and groups grants for programmes and equipment.

Sue was a Governor of Berkhamsted School for many years and was a Member of the Finance, Property and Chairman’s Committees.

As a Board member Sue is chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Stoke Mandeville Stadium Committee.  Her vast knowledge of sport from grass roots to elite level supports the Board in terms of its strategic approach to sport and the facilities at Stoke Mandeville.  Sue also represents WheelPower as the nominated Trustee to the National Paralympic Heritage Trust
