Having an up-to-date Will is one of the most important steps you can take to ensure your wishes are honoured. It allows you to provide for your loved ones, while also leaving a legacy that will continue to impact the lives of others long after you’re gone.

Every day, we see first-hand how sport enriches the lives of people with disabilities, providing physical, mental, and emotional benefits. From building confidence to improving fitness, sport brings joy to those who participate. With your gift, we can reach even more individuals, helping them lead healthier, more active lives.

By leaving WheelPower a gift in your Will, you’ll help us support people with disabilities, many of whom are children or young adults who’ve recently experienced spinal cord injuries. Your legacy could:

• Support over 100,000 disabled individuals each year
• Help more than 1,600 spinal injury patients access rehabilitation through our services
• Enable 47,000+ disabled individuals to play sport at Stoke Mandeville Stadium

How you can make a difference

Your gift can be a life-changing contribution. Here are a few ways you can leave a legacy to WheelPower:

• A share of your estate: After providing for your family and loved ones, you can leave a percentage or the remainder of your estate to WheelPower.
• A specific sum of money: You can leave a fixed amount that will directly support our work.
• A specific item: Consider leaving valuable items such as jewellery, antiques, shares or other assets that can be sold to support our programmes.
• A gift in trust: You can set aside a gift for someone to benefit from over time, after which it will be passed on to WheelPower

Already have a will?

If you already have a Will but would like to include WheelPower, you can easily amend it by adding a codicil. Simply speak to your solicitor, and they can help you update your Will.

How to include us in your will

Making the decision to leave a legacy gift is a wonderful way to contribute to our cause, and we’re here to guide you through the process. Here’s how to include us in your Will:

• Clearly state in your Will that you wish to leave a gift to WheelPower.
• Use our full charity details to ensure the gift is valid:
