Step into the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement for a unique team-building day like no other!
The Stoke Mandeville Experience is a great way for your team to experience a range of fun, fast-paced, highly energetic and inclusive sports that will change attitudes and start much needed positive conversations around disability.
Your event could include but not limited to wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, seated volleyball, boccia and no experience is needed!
Hosted by WheelPower at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, we have over 15 years of experience in organising team building events for a range of clients including Tesco, Danone Waters, The Guardian Newspaper Group and Clyde & Co. Our personal and friendly approach enables us to work closely with you to offer the perfect event and create unforgettable experiences.
How your day could look
| Meet & Greet: | On arrival at 10am your team will be greeted by WheelPower staff and served refreshments. |

| Disability Awareness: | After refreshments a brief introduction to disability awareness will take place. |
| Sport Starts: | You will split into groups and head into the sports hall where you will receive coaching and start to compete. |
| Lunch & Speaker: | We can arrange for lunch to be provided and for a Paralympic Athlete to tell their story. |
| More sport: | Depending on the number of people and the options you select. |
| Wrap up: | As the day draws to a close, we can look back on some tiring and most likely competitive games as well as new insights into disability. |
Not only will you have an energetic day but you will also learn the importance of Stoke Mandeville during a tour of the National Paralympic Heritage Centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to see medals, view the Paralympic cauldrons and mascots and have your picture taken with Paralympic torches while discovering the inspiring history of adaptive sport.
